Everything your store needs
to issue NFC-e — and stay legal.
JC Automação Comercial has been handling retail fiscal automation in the Baixada Santista region since 2003. We migrate your point of sale from SAT to NFC-e, supply the software, issue your digital certificate, configure the hardware, and stay by your side after go-live — all without interrupting a single day of trading.
One partner. Every piece of the NFC-e puzzle.
Migrating from SAT to NFC-e touches your tax registration, your PDV software, your digital certificate, and your day-to-day team workflow. Most vendors solve only one of those — they hand you a system and leave you to figure out the rest. We cover all four, in one structured engagement, in the same workweek.
We work exclusively with retail trade: supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, pet shops, clothing and accessories, bakeries, hardware stores. Our process has been refined across more than 500 migration projects in Santos, São Vicente, Cubatão, Guarujá, Praia Grande, and surrounding municipalities.

From SAT to NFC-e — without stopping the till.
NFC-e (Nota Fiscal do Consumidor Eletrônica) is the electronic consumer invoice model that has now replaced the SAT hardware coupon across all of São Paulo state. The transition was mandated by Sefaz-SP and the deadline passed on 31 December 2025. Here is what the switch means for your store in practice.
Fully digital, cloud-based
Every invoice is transmitted directly to Sefaz-SP over the internet. No physical SAT unit, no manual card reader, no hardware certification renewals to chase.
Less red tape
A single A1 digital certificate replaces the entire SAT accreditation chain. One annual renewal, remote installation — it sits on your server or workstation, not on a sealed box.
Real-time fiscal control
Sales data flows to Sefaz-SP and your back office simultaneously. End-of-month ICMS reconciliation takes minutes rather than hours, and audit exposure drops significantly.
Ready for every channel
NFC-e works across physical checkout, delivery apps, e-commerce platforms, and marketplaces — the same document format regardless of how and where the sale happens.

Your store issues NFC-e in four structured steps.
Our migration methodology is transparent, methodical, and designed around one constraint that matters above all else: your checkout never goes dark. From first contact to live NFC-e issuance, most projects are wrapped up within five business days.
Diagnostic Assessment
We evaluate your existing PDV setup, tax regime (Simples Nacional, Lucro Presumido, or MEI), average daily invoice volume, and network configuration. Within 24 hours you receive a written migration plan — no surprises, no scope creep.
- Remote or on-site audit of current hardware and software
- Tax profile review to confirm NFC-e eligibility rules
- Written timeline and itemised scope delivered next business day
Certificate & Registrations
We manage the bureaucratic heavy lifting so you don't have to. This includes obtaining or renewing your A1 digital certificate, updating your state registration (Inscrição Estadual) if needed, and completing the NFC-e credentialing process directly with Sefaz-SP.
- A1 digital certificate issued or renewed in your company's name
- Sefaz-SP NFC-e accreditation and series number allocation
- CSC (Código de Segurança do Contribuinte) configuration
AUTOMAT Configuration
We install and configure the AUTOMAT point-of-sale system with NFC-e issuance fully integrated. This covers product database migration, correct tax classification (CFOP, CSOSN/CST, ICMS rates), thermal printer pairing, and end-to-end test emissions to the Sefaz homologation environment.
- Product catalogue imported or migrated from existing system
- ICMS, PIS/COFINS and fiscal codes reviewed and mapped
- Thermal printer, barcode scanner and cash drawer configured
- Test batch of NFC-e documents approved in Sefaz homologation
Training & Go-Live
Before we switch you to production, every member of your checkout team is trained on AUTOMAT's daily workflows — opening and closing the till, issuing NFC-e, handling cancellations, and reading end-of-day reports. We stay on call via WhatsApp through your first week of live operation.
- Practical, on-site training at your counter — not a classroom session
- Supervised first trading day with a technician available
- WhatsApp direct line for questions during the first 30 days
Our commitment: the migration is completed with zero planned downtime. Switchover from SAT to NFC-e production happens during a scheduled window — typically early morning or between shifts — so your customers never notice the change. Most businesses we work with issue their first live NFC-e before lunchtime on go-live day.

Our approach versus the usual experience.
Most retailers who come to us have already had a frustrating experience trying to sort out a fiscal migration on their own or through a generalist IT firm. Here is the honest difference.
You get a quote for software but nobody mentions the digital certificate is separate — you discover this after the system is installed and you cannot issue a single invoice.
The technician configures the system remotely but has never seen your thermal printer model — you spend three days going back and forth on support tickets to get it printing correctly.
Tax codes (CFOP, CSOSN, ICMS rates) are set to generic defaults that may be wrong for your product categories or tax regime — exposing you to audit risk you didn't know you had.
Training is a video link or a PDF manual. Your cashier is expected to figure it out while there is a queue of customers. Mistakes at the till get filed as 'user error'.
After go-live, you call a 0800 number and get a different person every time — no continuity, no one who knows your specific setup, no accountability.
Our migration package is all-inclusive: software, digital certificate, Sefaz credentialing, and hardware setup are scoped together from day one — the quote reflects the true cost with no nasty surprises.
We have configured AUTOMAT with every major thermal printer sold in Brazil. Your printer is tested in our lab before it leaves us and confirmed working at your counter before we leave the premises.
During the diagnostic phase we review your tax regime and product mix to assign the correct fiscal codes. If something looks wrong we flag it — protecting you from potential penalties, not just ticking boxes.
Training is hands-on, at your counter, with your actual staff and your actual product data. We run real transactions in the homologation environment so your team knows exactly what to do before any customer money is involved.
Post-launch, you have a direct WhatsApp line to the same technician who handled your project. Continuity matters when something unexpected comes up during a busy Friday afternoon.
We don't disappear after go-live.
A migration is the start of the relationship, not the end of it. Our clients stay with us because the support they receive after launch is the same quality as the project work that preceded it.
WhatsApp Direct Line
Every client gets a direct WhatsApp contact to their assigned technician — not a group inbox, not a ticketing queue. You message a person who knows your store, your printer, and your product catalogue. During business hours we aim to respond within 15 minutes for active issues.
Remote Access Support
For issues that cannot be resolved via messaging — misconfiguration, software errors, certificate problems — we connect remotely to your workstation with your permission and resolve the fault directly. No waiting for a technician to commute across the city. Most issues are solved in under 30 minutes.
Certificate Renewal Alerts
Your A1 digital certificate has a 12-month lifespan. An expired certificate means zero NFC-e issuance until it is renewed — a situation that can shut down your checkout entirely. We track every certificate we issue and send you a proactive renewal reminder 60 days before expiry, then again at 30 days.
Stop issuing SAT. Start issuing NFC-e.
